The Florida Bar is accepting nominations for its 2027 Pro Bono Service Awards, which recognize lawyers, judges, law firms, and voluntary bar associations that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to providing free legal services to those who cannot afford them. Presented annually by the Florida Supreme Court and The Florida Bar, the awards honor members of the legal profession whose pro bono work helps ensure access to justice for Floridians in need.

FFLA - Funding Florida Legal Aid has launched a new Elder Law Grant Program to expand legal services for low-income older adults facing issues that affect their safety, well-being, and independence. Approved by the FFLA Board of Directors on June 18, the program includes $1.5 million in first-year funding. Applications are being accepted through July 31. Grants for use in 2027 will be awarded in December.
