Florida Bar Federal Court Practice Committee FCPC serves as Florida Bar liaison to the federal courts, Florida federal bar organizations, the 11th Circuit and others interested in federal practice.

The Federal Court Practice Committee serves as the Bar's liaison to the federal courts, federal bar organizations in Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference, and others interested in federal practice. The Committee distributes to Bar members proposed changes to the federal rules, including local rules for federal courts in Florida, and publishes the Guide to Judicial Practices in Florida

's Federal Courts, which describes the practices of individual federal judges in all three Districts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The Committee also maintains the Federal Corner on the Bar's website, and hosts the Federal Judicial Roundtable at the annual meeting of the Florida Bar. Members of Florida Bar entities communicate via this site. Consequently, any communication via this site may be subject to monitoring and disclosure to third parties. Please note, due to the lapse in appropriations, the clerk's office in Ocala will be closed on Wednesday, November 5. The clerk's offices in Fort Myers, Ocala, Orlando, and Tampa will be closed on Monday, November 10, but the clerk's office in Jacksonville will remain open.

The Florida Bar Board of Governors is seeking applicants for nine vacancies to be filled during its December 5, 2025, meeting. Lawyer applicants must be members of The Florida Bar and in good standing. Applications will be accepted through Monday, October 27.

The vacancies include one attorney to serve as a representative for the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference (Northern District), one attorney to serve on the Florida Rural Legal Services, Inc. Board of Directors, and seven attorneys from each appellate district and one at-large delegate to serve on the Florida Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee.
