VBK Law attorney James C. Munch recently had the honor of serving in his role as executor of the estate of Linda G. Zillman and Donald M. Zillman, helping to carry forward their lasting commitment to education, the arts, and community.
In December, Jim presented a $2.1 million gift to the University of Maine at Presque Isle —the largest in the university’s history — on behalf of the Zillmans.
Donald Zillman, a former president of the university, and Linda Zillman were dedicated to its growth and regional impact, making this gift especially significant to the Zillman’s, the Presque Isle Community, and the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Both the President of the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Ray Rice, and Jim spoke, and it was an event marked by reflection, gratitude, and purpose; an opportunity to honor lives well lived through a contribution that will benefit generations of students to come.
VBK is proud of Jim’s thoughtful stewardship in his role for the Zillmans and humbled to witness the enduring impact of the Zillmans’ generosity.
