It's that time of year again! Our team is back tending the garden in front of Blaze as part of the Adopt-a-Garden program in Downtown Bangor each spring. While we may not be master gardeners any time soon, we take pride in doing our part to help keep our downtown vibrant and welcoming for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

It has been a busy week full of community engagement and friendly competition, all for good causes! This past weekend, Tucker Law Group was honored to be a sponsor as well as a participant in a golf tournament benefiting the Belfast Area High School Boosters. (We even landed in third place!) We’re grateful for opportunities like these to support local initiatives and connect outside the office We're already looking forward to the next event!

Whether it was skill, luck, or maybe a little of both, the Tucker Law Group team came out on top at yesterday’s Kids' Chance of Maine Co****le Tournament. Led by our very own Joshua Birocco and Travis Rackliffe, the team brought home the trophy with an impressive first-place finish. We’re proud to have been part of such a successful and impactful evening to help fund educational opportunities for the children of Maine’s injured workers.

Last month, Attorney Joshua Birocco helped lead the Legal Year in Review panel, which offered insightful information regarding Appellate Division decisions in 2025. Using a series of engaging fact patterns and audience polling questions, Attorney Birocco focused his portion largely on the recent decisions which affect the compensability of death benefits.

We’re thrilled to see our Tucker Law Group attorneys engaging in opportunities like these that reflect our team’s commitment to staying at the forefront of legal developments and advancing knowledge within the industry.

We're so proud to sponsor another incredible event hosted by Kids’ Chance of Maine, an organization that continues to make a meaningful difference in our community.

What many may not know is that our connection to Kids’ Chance runs deep. After recognizing the impact that the organization has on injured workers and their families, our founding partner, Richard Tucker, worked alongside colleagues across Maine’s workers’ compensation community to help establish the first Kids’ Chance chapter in the state.

He was elected President of the Board during its inaugural year and remained a dedicated advocate and supporter of the organization in multiple capacities until his retirement. Tucker Law Group is honored to continue that support of Kids’ Chance and its mission to create opportunity and invest in stronger futures, something that we firmly believe is for the benefit of both employers and the families they depend on.

From insightful seminars to meaningful conversations, our attorneys had the privilege of attending CompCon at Sunday River last week. We were especially proud to see Partner Travis Rackliffe share his expertise as a panelist for a session on liens and third-party subrogation.

Tucker Law Group is proud to recognize Partner Travis Rackliffe for his recent volunteer efforts at the City of Old Town's annual Riverfest celebration. Attorney Rackliffe and his wife dedicated their weekend serving concessions with proceeds benefitting the Old Town High School Booster Club.

Last week, Tucker Law Group Partners Joshua Birocco and Travis Rackliffe hit the links for a great cause. They participated in the Golf Fore Kids scramble to benefit local youth programming, including sports and preschool/childcare resources at the Waldo County YMCA.

Fun Fact - Attorney Birocco serves as the Secretary for the YMCA's Board of Directors! We love seeing our team make a difference both in and out of the office.
