Yesterday, in a business class, we did an exercise where everyone had a sheet of paper taped to their back and walked around the room while others wrote down what they saw in you.

I’ll admit—it felt a little vulnerable. There’s something intimidating about wondering what people will write when you’re not the one controlling the narrative.

I think it’s easy to go through life wondering if what you’re doing is making an impact.

It’s easy to doubt yourself.
It’s easy to question if what you’re do matters.
It’s easy to wonder how people actually perceive you.

When I finally took my paper off and read it, I was overwhelmed.

Words like leader, encourager, servant, faithful, positive, inspiring, caring, and full of the Holy Spirit covered the page.

What surprised me most wasn’t the compliments—it was realizing that the way people see me in my career is the same way I’ve always hoped to show up in my faith.

I never set out to be a leader in real estate. I’ve simply tried to show up, serve people well, and genuinely care about the people God puts in front of me.

Today was a reminder that you never really know the impact you’re having on the people around you.

So if you’ve been doubting yourself lately, keep showing up. Keep encouraging. Keep serving. Keep loving people well.

Someone is watching, someone is being impacted, and your influence is probably greater than you realize.

Almost three years ago, we stood on this beach watching the sunset for the first time, trying to take in the fact that this property would be ours in just a couple of weeks.

If you had told me years ago that we would be able to own a waterfront home, I’m not sure I would have believed you.

But God has been so faithful to me and my family. I’ve seen His hand over and over again, and real estate has been one of the tools He has used to change so much in our lives.

And honestly, it wasn’t just the homes I helped other people buy and sell that got us here. It was the personal investments we made along the way.

We have personally bought and sold more than eight homes. The appreciation, the timing, and the strategic decisions we made created the equity that allowed us to buy a piece of our dream.

So when I tell you I’m passionate about real estate, it’s truly not because I’m just trying to make a sale.

It’s because I know how much this can change your life.
