Additional police patrols will be out on the roads this week to ensure everyone stays safe while out on the roads, state leaders announced. The traffic enforcement period began this past weekend and will run through Halloween night.

Safety crackdown efforts include sobriety checkpoints and additional DWI patrols. Law enforcement officers will also be looking for drivers that are distracted or speeding.

Lidl is recalling a batch of Gelatelli Coffee & Vanilla Gelato sold at stores in New Jersey and eight other states because of possible listeria contamination.

The recall affects 16-ounce containers of Gelatelli Coffee & Vanilla Gelato with Coffee Sauce & Cookie Pieces, according to a company announcement posted by the Food and Drug Administration.

The affected products were distributed to Lidl stores between July 19 and Oct. 15 in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Washington, D.C.
