Partner, Rob Astorino, is working this claim. Mr. Astorino manages our civil litigation division that handles these claims often known as "Section 1983 lawsuits." The claims are often the only way victims (or their families) can find a sense of justice when their civil rights have been violated by a state actor. โš–๏ธ

School is back. So are the school buses. And Kentucky's new bus camera enforcement is already in effect.

New camera monitoring systems and increased fines for illegally passing stopped school buses have been in place for more than a month.

As kids return to school and school buses become part of everyone's daily commute, it's important for Kentucky drivers to know the rules and understand the consequences of passing a stopped bus.

Our latest blog breaks down the new fines, camera monitoring system, and what Kentucky drivers need to know.

Our client was involved in a serious Kentucky semi-truck accident when a commercial truck struck his vehicle, causing him to sustain injuries.

After taking on his case, our team worked to pursue compensation for his injuries and the impact the accident had on his life. We were ultimately able to secure a significant settlement, providing important financial support for our client and his family.

If you or someone you love has been injured in a Kentucky truck accident, semi-truck crash, 18-wheeler accident, tractor-trailer collision, or commercial vehicle accident, understanding your legal rights is important.

Truck accident claims can be more complicated than typical car accident cases because they may involve trucking companies, commercial insurance policies, federal and state trucking regulations, multiple potentially responsible parties, and serious injuries.

Another 5-star review from a client we were honored to represent.

Our client had some wonderful things to say about Kaitlin Astorino, Angel, and Mark, including how often our team kept them informed and how Kaitlin personally took the time to explain their case and answer questions.

Most importantly, they shared that Kaitlin โ€œwent above and beyondโ€ in negotiating a happy ending.

We donโ€™t take that trust lightly. Thank you for allowing us to advocate for you and for recommending Stein Whatley Astorino to others!

When an insurance company says โ€œno,โ€ that doesnโ€™t always mean the conversation is over.

Our client came to us after his workersโ€™ compensation claim was initially denied. The insurance company argued that his injuries were the result of a self-inflicted accident.

We disagreed.

Our team fought to protect his rights and ultimately secured a settlement that will help him move forward, including replacing the vehicle he lost in the accident.

We're grateful he trusted us to stand in his corner when he needed it most. His story is a reminder that when a workers' compensation claim is denied, it can be worth having an experienced attorney review your case.
