Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed.

On September 11, 2001, thousands of lives were lost, families were shattered, and first responders and everyday people showed remarkable courage in the face of tragedy. Today, on the 25th anniversary, we pause to honor the memory of those we lost, the bravery of those who rushed to help, and the resilience of the families, survivors, and communities who have carried the weight of that day for a quarter century.

As we reflect, we remember not only the heartbreak, but also the unity, compassion, and strength that emerged in the aftermath. The legacy of September 11 is one of service, sacrifice, and a reminder that even in our darkest moments, we are stronger together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

💙 Sometimes, the most important thing we can give someone is our attention.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, we recognize the importance of listening, checking in, and creating space for honest conversations about mental health.

A simple question like “How are you really doing?” can open the door for someone who may be struggling to feel heard and supported.

Today is also a reminder that we do not have to wait until we know someone is having a difficult time to reach out. Check on a friend. Call a family member. Make time for a colleague. Listen without judgment.

If you are struggling, reaching out for support can be an important first step.

Listen. Connect. Support. Remind people they matter.

From all of us at Boggs Law Group, we stand with individuals, families, and communities affected by su***de and recognize those working every day to support mental health and su***de prevention.

📰 INSURANCE NEWS: Hurricane season is well underway. Is your insurance coverage ready?

As Florida enters one of the most active periods of hurricane season, a recent MSN.com article raises an important question for property owners: Are you prepared, or are you waiting until a storm is on the horizon to review your insurance?

The article highlights several key points every Florida homeowner should know:

🌊 Flood insurance and homeowners insurance are usually separate policies.

⏳ Many flood insurance policies have a waiting period before coverage begins.

🌀 Insurers may temporarily stop issuing new policies when a storm is approaching.

📄 Different types of homeowners policies can provide different coverage.

The bottom line: Simply having insurance is not the same as understanding what your policy actually covers.

Now is the time to review your policies, check for exclusions, and make sure you know exactly what protection you have before you need it.

🏆 LESS THAN 10%.

Fewer than 10% of Florida businesses receive a Best of Florida recognition. We’re honored that Boggs Law Group is among them.

Being named a 2026 Best of Florida Winner in the Other Legal Services category is a distinction we’re proud to receive. For us, recognition is not the finish line; it’s a reminder of the responsibility that comes with earning people’s trust.

Every client who has turned to us, every professional who has referred someone to our firm, every relationship we’ve built within the communities we serve, and every person who supported us throughout the Best of Florida voting process, your confidence is what gives this recognition meaning.

We’re proud of the award, but we’re even more grateful for the trust behind it. 💙

🌪️ A tornado can damage a property in minutes, but understanding the insurance claim that follows can take much longer.

For Lake Mary property owners affected by tornado damage, a single storm may have impacted multiple parts of a property. This can include roofing and exterior components, windows, structures, interiors, and personal property.

When an insurance claim is filed, each area of loss can raise its own questions. Was all of the storm-related damage included in the insurer’s evaluation? Is there disagreement about the scope or cause of certain damage? How does the policy apply to the different parts of the loss? What options are available when the policyholder and insurer reach different conclusions?

At Boggs Law Group, we help Florida policyholders look beyond the initial claim decision and understand how their tornado-related property damage was evaluated.

If a Lake Mary tornado claim is delayed, denied, undervalued, or otherwise disputed, we can review the policy, claim history, insurer’s position, and circumstances of the loss. We explain the issues affecting the claim and advocate for the policyholder’s rights in pursuing available insurance benefits.

One storm can create many areas of damage. Your claim should be understood as carefully as your property was affected.

Have questions about a disputed tornado damage claim involving a Lake Mary property? Contact Boggs Law Group to learn how we may be able to assist.

📘 POLICY TERM: Insured vs. Named Insured

They may sound interchangeable, but “Insured” and “Named Insured” don’t always mean the same thing.

The Named Insured is the person or entity specifically identified on the insurance policy. The term Insured may also include other individuals who qualify for certain coverage under the policy’s definitions and terms.

Why does the distinction matter?

Who qualifies as an insured can affect coverage, rights, and responsibilities when a property insurance claim occurs. The answer depends on the language of the specific policy and the circumstances involved.

It’s important to know who is listed on your policy and to understand how the policy defines an “insured.” This knowledge can make a real difference if you ever need to file a claim.

Don’t just know what’s covered. Know who the policy covers.

💙 Strong communities are built by people who choose to show up for one another.

On International Day of Charity, we celebrate the individuals, nonprofits, volunteers, businesses, and community organizations who give their time, resources, knowledge, and energy to help others.

Charity takes many forms. It might be a donation, volunteering, sharing a resource, supporting a neighbor, or simply recognizing where help is needed and choosing to respond.

At Boggs Law Group, we are proud to call Florida home. We are grateful for the people and organizations working every day to make our communities stronger.

Today is a reminder that meaningful change often begins with something simple. See a need. Understand how you can help. Take action that matters.

Happy International Day of Charity from all of us at Boggs Law Group. 💙

🌀 Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton are no longer in the forecast, but for some Florida property owners, they remain part of an unresolved insurance claim.

As time passes after a hurricane, the questions surrounding a property insurance claim can shift and become more complex. Why does the insurer's evaluation differ from the documented damage? Is there disagreement about the cause or scope of the loss? Has part of the claim been paid while other damage remains disputed? What does the policy say about the issues keeping the claim from moving forward?

Knowing where a claim stands and understanding why it is stalled is essential to deciding what comes next.

At Boggs Law Group, we help Florida homeowners, business owners, and condominium associations navigate disputed property insurance claims arising from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Our team reviews the policy, the history of the claim, the insurer's position, and the circumstances surrounding the property damage. We help policyholders understand their options and advocate for their rights as they pursue available insurance benefits.

The hurricane may be over, but your questions about the claim do not always end with the storm.

If your Helene or Milton property insurance claim is delayed, denied, undervalued, or still in dispute, contact Boggs Law Group to learn how we may be able to assist.
