On July 11, 2026, the Orange County Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) was named the 2025 Large Chapter of the Year by National ABOTA at its Meeting and Conference in Detroit, Michigan. The recognition comes under the 2025 leadership of BGSP Partner Juan C. Delgado, who served as President of the Orange County Chapter in that year.

This prestigious honor recognizes the Chapter’s outstanding contributions to the Orange County legal, judicial, educational, and broader community. After six consecutive years of submitting for the award, the Orange County Chapter earned this national distinction during Juan’s presidency—a tremendous achievement for both the Chapter and BGSP.

ABOTA is a highly respected, invitation-only national organization of experienced trial attorneys and judges dedicated to preserving and promoting the civil jury trial. BGSP is proud to celebrate Juan’s leadership and the Orange County Chapter’s well-deserved recognition on the national stage.
