About Jo Vonna Hill

JO VONNA HILL, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, began her career in Human Resources in 1985 with Hermann Hospital. She currently works at the law firm, Pagel, Davis & Hill, where she coordinates Human Resource and legal work performed for clients of the law firm. She provides consulting for small to medium-sized business in legal compliance audits, employee relations, investigations, EEOC and unemployment claims, FMLA and ADA administration, and litigation prevention and support. Her experience includes management and/or consulting in numerous industries including manufacturing, medical, education, oil & gas, transportation, and construction. She has served in leadership positions at HR Houston as HR Ambassadors Committee Chair, Gulf Coast Symposium on HR Issues Committee Chair, and as a Special Projects Panel member.

We are proud of the work PDH Partner Dennis McQueen did helping not only our client, but 39 other individuals whose properties were stolen by fraudulent deeds, get their properties back.

BIG thanks to ABC13-Miya Shay for her investigative work that started all of this, and Harris County District Attorney's Office Christian Menefee following through on civil lawsuit that led to judgment giving properties back to rightful owners.

A judge has signed a default judgment that will return 40 properties to its original owners after ABC13 broke the story of a Houston woman accused in civil lawsuits of stealing dozens of properties.

A Houston artist who had his property stolen from under him got it back Friday, less than three weeks after Action 13 highlighted the alleged warranty deed theft on our air.

Thank you to client Alora Restaurant and Bar for catering our Friday lunch. While Alora is best experienced in their very well appointed dining room or outside patio (check out their beautiful platings on their IG), we enjoyed tasting multiple of Chef Diego Ponce's tasty creations!

Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try out their bar menu, since we still work on Friday afternoons!

Some of our favs are Pasta a la Huancaina, Lomo Saltado [their style has Peruvian classic meet Vietnam’s bò lúc lắc (shaking beef)]
