On Thursday, November 14, Georgetown University Law Center will host an open house for prospective students interested in pursuing a tax LL.M. degree.

The event will begin with a panel comprised of faculty members, alumni, and representatives from Georgetown's Career Services and Admissions Offices. Panelists will discuss why pursuing a tax LL.M. is a valuable endeavor for a student interested in a career as a tax lawyer, and what makes Georgetown unique among other top tax programs. Two recent alumni will talk about why they chose Georgetown and their experience as students in the program. Georgetown's Assistant Dean of Graduate Careers will discuss career pathways and job prospects for Tax LL.M. students, and the Director of Graduate Admissions will go over the application process and timeline. A reception will take place immediately following the panel, and a current student will give guests a campus tour before the panel.
