Judge Konduras is one of a kind. Well deserved!

Judge Konduras sent me a handwritten card after my father died in 2022. I was able to personally thank her at the Greenville County Bar’s Memorial Service.

Congratulations to Judge Aphrodite K. Konduros, recipient of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association’s 2026 Jean Galloway Bissell Award!

This honor recognizes distinguished service to the legal profession, professional excellence, and a career spent opening doors for women in law, and Judge Konduros embodies all three.

A Sumter, SC native, Judge Konduros made history as the first female Student Bar President at the USC School of Law. She went on to serve in family court before her election to the SC Court of Appeals in 2008, where she continues to serve today. Along the way, she’s chaired the Chief Justice’s Commission on the Profession, served on the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Commission, and mentored countless women in the profession, carrying forward the legacy of Judge Jean Galloway Bissell, the first female SC lawyer to hold a federal judgeship.

One thing we rarely do now is real estate closings. However, every now and then we will handle one for existing clients.

Even though closings are not our favorite thing to do, and lenders get on my nerves, we still do a great job!

For my clients, don’t be alarmed by the new parking lot signs. The lot to the left of our office is still parking for Access Law clients. You don’t have to worry about paying to park. We will validate your parking for free while you are doing business with us.
