Today was Tinsel Town at BCC HQ getting ready for Xmas ❤️🥰
Also an update for our team on everything Butterfly Compassion Community - BCC and also our new AWHI projects underway 🤩

Big thanks to our Governance chair Liz, also Sue who spoke after seeing Awhi released and Karen on feedback from education field - wow wow wow 😍

But the most amazing feedback came from three mummas :-
Two have young kiddies who are navigating autism journeys , and one from a parent supporting dementia at end of life journey ❤️❤️❤️

To know AWHI offers and means the most to all these amazing women, their whanau and extended families - meant more than words can say 🙏

Yes we are in the business of “heart, compassion” and both are intricate links between both sides of our charity business 🤩❤️

Well we have put the question to the community, to the funders, to the service organisations that support all in our community with specific needs … and yes provided a pathway to ensure we achieve positive change, opportunities for our young to our elderly in the neurodivergent and partially abled areas - ❤️

An amazing hui , supported by leaders in development of design - Emma , Sarah - Emma Brown Design, and then showed further opportunities with our great collab with Zero Gravity for more opportunities in 2027..

How positive was the Hui ?
How positive were those that believe in change, don’t just say it but create it and mean it …?
How does this happen, is it already done, do we need it ?… well 🤔

Survey, community feedback, whanau feedback - “have walked the talk “- educators turned up, ministry, disability groups , business peeps and funders 🙌

Now we will see who values making a difference locally and regionally .

🦋 URGENT CALL OUT FOR LINEN! 🦋

Our community nurses have reached out to us following a scabies outbreak in our community, and we're hoping you can help! 🩵

We're urgently needing new or good-quality pre-loved linen in ALL bed sizes, from babies through to adults.

If you have any clean linen you're no longer using and would be happy to donate, we would be incredibly grateful!

ONE MORE SLEEP… where dream, passion and people who believe in inclusivity for all , from our young to our elderly 🤩❤️
We are ready 😊

One more sleep 😴… yep tomorrow we launch our •Sensory plan • to move forward for all in an inclusive and exciting space .

This has been dreams and months in the making by a truly dedicated group of peeps, who genuinely want to make a difference in our Region and yes wherever this may take us in the future.

Huge thanks to all for the hardwork in the background getting ready for our Hui on Tuesday with special thanks to Butterfly Compassion Community - BCC team, Brown Design , and Zero Gravity Cheerleading, who together we are showcasing connection, collaboration for our community …

Never stop learning and growth comes with belief and passion in what you do :-

Today was a 3min quick chat at PNCC where we launched our textile waste sleepsac, for all including a new junior sleepsac for ages 3months to 3 years.

When we have support our team lift to make a difference 🙌🤩

Yes we have so much planned to support in 2027 … business and community making a true change at grassroots ❤️

WOW! Our younger sensory session is FULLY BOOKED in less than 24 hours! 🌈🦋

We are so grateful for all the interest! It really shows just how much these types of sessions are wanted in our community.

Our 7+ years session still has spaces available! If your child is under 7 but you're comfortable with them playing alongside older children, you're more than welcome to book them into this session.

🌈 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁! Our sensory room will be available to enjoy throughout both sessions, completely FREE! Bookings and payment are only required for children wanting to access the soft play area.
