William Tumai - Barrister & Solicitor Lawyer | Policy Advisor | Security William is of Waikato and Ngati Porou descent. He attended Putaruru High School and St Peters Anglican School in Cambridge.

He then resumed and completed his secondary school education at Te Waha o Rerekohu Area School in Te Araroa, East Cape. William commenced legal studies at Victoria University of Wellington taking sebatical leave for a year before completing further education. Personal circumstances saw William continue his studies at the University of Waikato where he obtained a B.Soc.Sci (Hons) - majoring in Public Administration & Public Policy & Political Science, an LLB Bachelor of Laws, and a M.Soc.Sci (Hons) in Political Science. He completed an LLM Master of Laws in 2022. William is described as a straight shooter. He is approachable for legal advice and representation. He is available to help people with their legal predicaments but does not offer legal advice through social media. He is happy to field and answer phone, email, fax and in person queries. William is able to receive instructions to both advise and represent in most legal areas. He is pro-active in the provision of legal advice and representation. William currently resides and practices law in Auckland Aotearoa New Zealand and accepts direct briefs from clients. The Legal Practice work includes 2 key areas: Criminal and Family law together with interests in Tax, Human Rights, Employment, Immigration, Tenancy and Maori Land law.
