Something different from the usual, pretty cool photography from WJN Moving Images!

The latest episode of Moving Houses featured King House Removals extracting a house from the Christchurch suburb of Fendalton and moving it 18km to the beachside in Sumner.

The job included cutting the bungalow in two and re-joining the house after the transport for a great finish.

Catchup on the episode on TVNZ+.

One of our preloved stock houses moved in one piece. Ideal for a nice block of land. Bricks removed prior to allow for shifting. With new cladding to go on and then the finishing touches to make it home sweet home.

On tour KHR style! Moving a house from Auckland to Tekapo is no small task, with around 1,600km travelled! Lots of logistics to sort – from planning routes, sorting the endless permits, coordinating timing and making sure you are going to fit on the boat… with inches to spare! Well done KHR team!
