Our very own Peter Redpath has received an award from Citizens Advice Bureau national president Neil Lancaster in recognition of nearly 42 years of voluntary service providing free legal clinics to the community.

Peter views the work as vital due to high legal costs and a shortage of local lawyers taking on legal aid, both of which put increasing pressure on the service.

Humbled by the recognition, he affirmed his commitment to continue volunteering with Citizens Advice to help ensure ongoing access to justice.

Well done Peter!

Libby graduated with an LLB from the University of Canterbury at the beginning of 2026 and is looking forward to being admitted to the bar in early August this year.

Libby is a forward thinker with strong communication skills and a people-first approach—qualities that help her build positive relationships with clients and colleagues. She enjoys the variety and challenge of legal work and is excited to keep growing her skills at Eagles, Eagles & Redpath.

Libby’s passion for learning, it’s ability to provide advocacy for those in need and the challenge of getting to the bottom of an investigation is what drew her to law.

Libby’s approach is to be human and to serve as a trusted advisor for her clients, willing to adapt her approach to them and their needs, regardless of their background, treating every experience as a learning opportunity. Libby’s primary areas of work include family and criminal matters.

Registered as a Legal Executive in 2018, Natasha holds Associate membership with Legal Executives New Zealand and has more than 12 years’ experience working in Southland law firms.

Natasha joined the team in June 2026 and assists clients with all aspects of estate administration, guiding families through the process of administering a loved one’s estate with compassion, understanding and clear advice during what is often a difficult time. She also undertakes residential conveyancing including first-home purchases, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and has an interest in assisting with family and civil matters.

What Natasha enjoys most about her role is helping people navigate important life events and making the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible for her clients.
