Join us in welcoming our newest intern, Tamara!

She is a current Junior at the University of South Carolina majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. Outside of work and school she enjoys being on the water, playing pickleball, playing the guitar, and spending time with her furry friend, Cinnamon.

We had an amazing weekend at the South Carolina School Boards Association’s School Law Conference! ⚖️📚

Joseph Bias had the opportunity to present “The ABCs of Title IX Investigations” to superintendents and school board members from across the state. It was a great opportunity to share insight on Title IX investigations, student conduct, and best practices for navigating these important issues in our schools.

We are incredibly grateful to the South Carolina School Boards Association for the opportunity to be part of such a great conference and to connect with education leaders from across South Carolina!

Joseph has been hard at work this week giving back to the community and investing in the next generation of legal professionals. He is serving as an instructor for the 2026 Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series: Adventures in Law and Crime for rising 6th–9th graders.

We are grateful to the attorneys who joined him for a panel discussion, sharing insights into the many areas of law they practice and offering students a glimpse into the day-to-day life of being an attorney.
