If you have a spinal cord injury and you live in an assisted living home, skilled nursing facility, or specialized rehabilitation facility, that facility is required to provide a duty of care. Negligence lawsuits against them typically center on a breach of the duty of care that results in catastrophic, life-altering trauma. For an individual with a spinal cord injury this might look like allowing dangerous pressure sores to form.

Hosted by The Baltimore Banner, the gathering also featured Governor Wes Moore and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, bringing together voices from across Maryland to discuss our state’s future.
