On this Veterans Day, we’re taking a moment to reflect and say thank you. To all who have served and to the families who support them: your sacrifice, strength, and dedication mean more than words can express.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, but today reminds us to slow down and recognize the everyday heroes who walk among us. If you’re a veteran or have one in your life, we hope today brings you the appreciation you so deeply deserve. Thank you for your service.

Please note that our office is closed on November 11th in observance of the holiday. We’ll be back on Wednesday, November 12th, ready to respond to any messages received during our absence.

When we "fall back" and gain an extra hour, it might feel like a bonus — but the shift can come with hidden risks on the road.

Research shows that even a one-hour disruption in sleep can lead to drowsy driving, which impairs reaction times and decision-making, similar to driving under the influence. In fact, drivers who miss just one to two hours of sleep nearly double their risk of crashing.

With Daylight Saving Time ending on November 3rd, stay alert behind the wheel:

✅ Give yourself extra time in the morning.
✅ Stay off the road if you're feeling drowsy.
✅ Watch for changing light conditions that impact visibility.

In our line of work, we see the consequences of fatigued driving far too often. Please take care of yourself and others during this time of year by driving safely. And as always, in the unfortunate case you are involved in a crash, do not hesitate to give us a call.

Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel times of the year, and the roads will be packed with people heading out to visit loved ones.

Whether you're driving a few miles or a few hundred, we’re sharing a few reminders to help you stay safe behind the wheel:

🔹Watch for deer. Collisions spike between October and December, especially around dawn and dusk.
🔹Travel smart: Peak travel times are typically Wednesday afternoon and Sunday evening.
🔹Check the forecast: Ice, snow, and rain can quickly change road conditions, so make sure your vehicle is road-ready.
🔹Minimize distractions: Stay off your phone and focus on the road.
🔹Rest up: Avoid driving drowsy, and never drive under the influence.

If you or someone you know is involved in an accident this holiday season, we are here to help you navigate your next steps. Wishing you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

With autumn in full swing, many drivers overlook a common seasonal hazard: wet leaves. When leaves become saturated with rain, they create a slick surface that can be as dangerous as ice. This condition often leads to reduced tire traction, longer stopping distances, and an increased risk of accidents, especially when braking suddenly.

If you are involved in a crash caused by slippery road conditions:

✅Prioritize safety and seek medical attention if needed.
✅Report the accident to local law enforcement and document the scene thoroughly.
✅Avoid discussing fault at the scene; consult our team before providing statements to insurers.
✅Contact our team as soon as possible to understand your rights and explore potential compensation.

Fall driving comes with unique risks. Stay alert — and if the unexpected happens, our firm is here to help guide you through the legal process. Give us a call anytime.
