There’s something deeply emotional about watching your child grow up and head into the next chapter of life. 🎓💙

We teach them how to drive, how to study, how to be safe, and how to navigate the world… but most parents don’t realize that once their child turns 18, they may no longer be able to step in during a medical emergency or help handle important matters if something unexpected happens.

As a mom with daughters in college, I know exactly how it feels to get the call none of us ever want get - then having to trust emergency medical personnel is doing their job to treat your child - without you there.

This College Student Care Package was created from a place of wanting families to have a little more peace of mind during such a bittersweet season. Because no matter how grown they get, they’ll always be our babies. 💛

Motherhood is more than biology.

Friendly reminder: A trust without funding is just a very expensive stack of paper. 🤦🏽‍♀️🙊

Think of it this way: How far would a car get you without gas or an electric charge? 🚗

Client: “I already have a trust.”

Me after reviewing their 11-page document from 2013 that owns… absolutely nothing:

GARBAGE!🗑️

No funding.
No updated assets.
A Schedule A that still thinks it’s 2013. 🤦🏽‍♀️

This isn’t an estate plan… it’s a probate bomb waiting to go off. 💣

Trust = poorly written
Funding = missing
Peace of mind = snatched away when I tell them it’s basically worthless as is.

Not because my clients did anything wrong.

But because they thought paying for a DIY service or for a $999 estate “plan” from someone who uses the same word template for hundreds of other families would be enough to protect their family and their assets. 🤦🏽‍♀️

What started as a dream has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.

Since 2019, our educational seminars have been the heartbeat of this firm — showing up, teaching, answering questions, and empowering families with knowledge. That commitment to education is truly how we’ve grown.

Today, we’re celebrating 8 years and the fact that we now call our own office building home, complete with a conference room built specifically to host the seminars and conversations that shaped us.

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been honest, purpose-driven, and full of growth.

When illness and death wait for no one.

Some days are heavy.

But every day reminds me why this work matters.

Helping families plan ahead isn’t about documents — it’s about love, responsibility, and peace of mind.
