🎃👻 Halloween on St. Charles Avenue! 🏡🍂

One of my favorite things about New Orleans this time of year is seeing our beautiful historic homes all dressed up for Halloween! From spooky skeletons to larger-than-life decorations, some homeowners really go all out, and I love seeing their creativity year after year.

Here are a few of my favorite Halloween houses along St. Charles Avenue that are definitely worth checking out:

Another October weekend is upon us, and New Orleans is jam packed with things to do! 🎃 If you’re looking for something fun, consider heading out to see Krewe of BOO! With larger-than-life floats, creative costumes, and plenty of Halloween spirit, it’s a spectacle worth seeing.

A little history: Krewe of BOO! was founded in 2007 by “Mr. Mardi Gras,” Blaine Kern Sr. The first parade rolled in 2008 as a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina relief. After a hiatus, it returned in 2013 under his son Brian Kern’s leadership and has become a favorite New Orleans fall tradition. 👻

This year’s parade rolls Saturday, October 24th, at 6:30PM, traveling through the French Quarter to the Warehouse District. It’s free to watch, family friendly, and costumes are encouraged! Grab a bag for your throws and enjoy Halloween, New Orleans style! 🧡🖤
