Farmers Day is kind of every day at the McCleskey Law Firm. We've represented clients on all types of agriculture issues going back to our earliest days in Tahoka in 1928. One of the first cases founder Hobert Nelson handled was successfully negotiating a settlement of labor claims on a share crop. Our knowledge and experience in agriculture law is deep.

We honor McCleskey attorneys Jerry Kolander and Bill Lane on International Newspaper Carrier Day. Long before our veteran barristers studied law, they delivered the local newspaper ... Jerry in Amarillo and Bill in Sweetwater. Delivering the newspaper was a great way for young people to learn discipline and work ethic. Some famous people who delivered papers when they were younger include Albert Einstein, James Cagney, Martin Luther King Jr. and Isaac Asimov.
