Mr. Prunka joins d|law as an experienced litigator with an extensive background in criminal and juvenile law. Mr. Prunka also practices family law and assists clients in estate planning.
Mr. Prunka spent nearly 11 years as Assistant State’s Attorney for Frederick County, where he worked in the District Court, Child Support, and Juvenile divisions, prosecuting crimes ranging from misdemeanors to major felonies. Mr. Prunka gained extensive litigation experience, trying nearly two dozen cases before juries. Mr. Prunka prosecuted juvenile, gang, and firearm offenses. Following his tenure as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Mr. Prunka joined a private practice in Rockville where he handled criminal and juvenile defense cases and expanded his practice areas to include family law and estate planning.
Mr. Prunka is excited to return “home” to the Frederick County legal community and is eager to begin representing clients in his capacity at d|law.
