FCSO Cadet Unit 1218 Our Cadet Program provides a career oriented learning experience for the youth in our community, int

the members of Explorerer Post 1218 range from 14-21, and have expressed a desire to pursue a career in law enforcement. Post members meet every other week at the Sheriff's Office HQ where they receive specialized instruction and training. The Post is not a cadet program, and Post members are not compensated for their time. Post members gain valuable insight pertaining to law enforcement careers,

and participation in Post activities assists them in making career choices later in life. Numerous Post members have gone on to very successful careers in law enforcment (and other public safety-related fields).

Last night was so fun!! The Cadets practiced Drill and Ceremony with Deputy Humphrey. We had 11 new cadets last night and when I tell you they did an amazing job, they did an amazing job and worked hard.

In the end, they looked like a Unit and became one!
