Apparently, our idea of a fun Friday afternoon is… taxes. 🤓📊

Today, our attorneys and case support team spent the afternoon in an in-office training with CPA Brenda Catalanatto, diving into how to read and interpret tax returns for individuals and different types of businesses.

Why does that matter for a family law firm? When a case involves a business owner, understanding the numbers behind the business can be critical. Tax returns can tell a story — and we want our entire team to know how to read it.

At Magnolia Law, our training goes far beyond the continuing education required of our attorneys. We intentionally invest in educating our entire case team so we can ask better questions, spot important issues, and better advocate for our clients.

Because when your divorce involves a business, “I’m not a numbers person” isn’t really an option. 😉
