Here is exactly what you need to do depending on your situation:

1️⃣ I ALREADY HAVE A NEW FLIGHT AND I AM LEAVING SOON**
👉 **Where to go:** Nowhere! You handle this ONLY at the airport upon departure. You do NOT need to visit an embassy or a local immigration office.
👉 **What you need:** Simply present the **cancellation email or official notice from your airline** to the immigration officer at passport control.
👉 **The result:** Your standard daily overstay fine (500 THB/day) will be fully waived on the spot without any penalties.

2️⃣ I DO NOT HAVE A NEW FLIGHT YET AND NEED TO STAY LONGER**
👉 **Where to go:** You must visit a local Thai Immigration Office. This cannot be done at the airport.
