We are pleased to officially launch the first session of the Resolve Academy Mentorship Program — a new initiative designed to connect aspiring professionals with leading experts in international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Our first session will feature Dr. Aline Tanielian Fadel, Partner at Eptalex Law Firm, Arbitrator, and Lecturer, who brings more than 25 years of experience in international arbitration, commercial disputes, construction law, and intellectual property matters across the Middle East and beyond.

An engaging discussion on the role of AI in international arbitration took place during , moderated by Tatevik S. Karapetyan, PhD Director of Resolve Academy.

The session brought together distinguished experts including Chris Clements , Daniel Correa, Sébastien Bardou , and Alexander Marcopoulos .
who shared valuable perspectives on the opportunities and challenges AI presents for dispute resolution mechanisms and legal practice worldwide.

We were pleased to host the panel discussion “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards from the Court’s Perspective: Judicial Standards, Limits, and Discretion” as part of the Cyprus Arbitration Day 2026.

The discussion brought together distinguished practitioners and arbitration professionals to explore the judicial approach to the enforcement of arbitral awards, the limits of court intervention, and the balance between judicial discretion and the autonomy of arbitration proceedings.

We were honored to have Ani Davoodi Managing Partner at MA’AT Partners at the International Commercial Arbitration Institute, as the moderator of the panel discussion.

Our distinguished speakers included:

Day 2 of the Spring Cohort 2026 in Limassol was marked by dynamic discussions, practical insights, and engaging exchanges between leading arbitration practitioners and participants from different legal backgrounds.

Mastering International Arbitration: Theory, Practice, and Strategy
Organized by Resolve Academy in collaboration with Patrikios Legal and Cyprus Arbitration Day

Tatiana Minaeva FCIArb is an independent international arbitrator with over 20 years of experience in commercial and investor–state arbitration. Before establishing her independent practice in 2025, she worked at major international law firms, focusing on investor–state and commercial arbitration proceedings involving cross-border disputes. Her practice reflects experience across both common law and civil law systems, with particular expertise in matters involving parties from the CIS region, and she works in both English and Russian. She now focuses exclusively on acting as arbitrator and has been appointed under the rules of leading institutions as sole arbitrator, presiding arbitrator and co-arbitrator. She is on the panels of major arbitration institutions, including HKIAC and SIAC (since 2015), as well as a number of regional institutions, including DIAC and the RAC. Tatiana is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is ranked as “Highly Recommended” in Lexology Index: Arbitration.

On April 27, Resolve Academy participated in a discussion on the efficiency of international arbitration proceedings.

The event was organized within the framework of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (VIAC) Ambassadors Network initiative, in collaboration with ArbMenia , and with the support of the YSU Master’s Program on International Courts and Arbitration.

The discussion brought together leading Armenian and international experts to examine both visible and often overlooked aspects shaping arbitration efficiency. Key topics included procedural delays, challenges in investment arbitration, and the evolving debate on transitioning from ad hoc tribunals to permanent investment courts.

Special attention was given to the role of states and businesses, as well as the growing importance of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as negotiation and mediation in resolving disputes effectively.

The event served as a valuable platform for exchanging practical insights and strengthening professional dialogue in the field of international arbitration.
