If you've studied law abroad, you’ll need an NCA™ Certificate of Qualification to qualify for bar admissions in all common law provinces and territories in Canada.

This certificate isn’t the same as a Canadian law degree. Instead, it proves you’ve met the requirements of the NCA™ exam and that your knowledge of Canadian law aligns with graduates from approved Canadian law programs.

Did you know that NCA™ exams are evaluated on a pass/fail basis, with 50% as the passing threshold? Results are typically released around 10 to 12 weeks after the last exam in each session, giving candidates a clear timeline to anticipate their outcomes.
