Earlier this week, Peter Czegledy led the webinar “Global Insights: International Legal Review,” hosted by the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA) and featuring members of the SLA International Committee.

The discussion explored key legal developments shaping the sports industry across several regions, drawing on insights from the Committee’s annual report.

Peter is a member of the firm's Corporate Group, as well as the Mergers & Acquisitions and Technology Groups. He is Co-Leader of the firm's Gaming and Sports & Entertainment Groups. Congratulations to Peter Van Loan, who was recently named to the University of Toronto Governing Council. Members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council serve a three-year term.

Peter is a partner in the firm’s Municipal, Land Use Planning & Development Group and Leader of the Public Policy & Government Relations Group. He represents landowners, developers and municipalities with respect to land use planning, development approvals, heritage and general municipal law matters. The Women’s Law Association of Ontario hosts the session as part of the week, which The Action Group on Access to Justice (TAG) and the Law Society of Ontario present.
