In August 2024, I founded Pokharel Law with a mission to provide dedicated and compassionate legal support to those navigating the complexities of immigration and refugee law. My decision to establish my own practice stemmed from a deep commitment to advocating for individuals in vulnerable positions and offering tailored legal solutions to address their unique challenges. I hold an LLB (Honours)
from BPP University in the United Kingdom and an LLM in Business Law from the University of Montreal. After being called to the Ontario Bar in November 2022, I gained valuable experience at one of the largest Refugee Law firm in Toronto, Ontario. This background in Refugee Law, coupled with my expertise in Business Law and Immigration Law, forms the foundation of the comprehensive approach I bring to my practice

Our team includes professionals fluent in Hindi, Bangladeshi, Punjabi, Sri Lankan Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Sinhalese, Yoruba, and Edo. This extensive language capability allows us to provide personalized legal support and build strong connections with our clients. Over the course of my career, I have worked with over 100 refugees, gaining extensive experience in managing complex immigration cases. My proficiency in English, Hindi, and Nepali, along with a basic understanding of French and German, further enhances my ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
