Hi Friends, I am so excited to welcome Dawson Wigle and Julian Ritchie to the SM Legal team!

Dawson and Julian are professional placement students from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. They will be joining us for the remainder of 2022 to help out with conducting research, writing correspondence, and helping us grow our business!

Employers! The Supreme Court will not hear an appeal on a precedent-setting employment law case.

As a result, employment contracts which deny termination pay (even for employees fired for "just cause") may be deemed invalid. To preserve the right to fire employees for just cause without paying any termination pay, your contracts will likely need to be adjusted.
