Today is Michelle’s last day of work at our firm as she embarks on the next chapter of her life pursuing law school. For those who don’t know Michelle, she started at our firm as a summer student and soon transitioned to a role on our admin support team. Like the rest of our team, she has been vital to our firm through the work she has done during her time here and through the support she has given to the multiple teams across our firm.

We are grateful to Michelle for her hard work and efforts, and even more grateful for the contagious smiles, positivity and humour she brought with her to work and firm functions. Michelle, you will certainly be missed, but we cannot wait to see and hear about all the great things you do in this next chapter of your life. We will be cheering you on!

Last week, some of our team members joined Maple Ridge Community Management Ltd at their annual golf tournament, held in support of Associa Cares Canada and the Princess Margaret Hospital. They raised a record amount of $216,000, an incredible achievement, to say the least. A job well done, and a huge thank you, MRCM, for all the time and effort put into making this event possible! The day was a great success, and we were very proud to have been one of the event sponsors.

It was a gorgeous day out on the course, made only better by spending it with various industry members, such as Val Sears (Keller Engineering) and Luka Milidragovic (Condominium Lending Group), both of whom we had the pleasure of golfing with!

Gorgeous weather and great company brought together by a meaningful and impactful event - you really can’t ask for more than that. We cannot wait for next year’s tournament!

Today, we proudly celebrate the beautiful land we call home as well as the people and communities who make up this country. How grateful we are to be able to live, work and exist in a place such as this, surrounded by those from all walks of life who make Canada the country that it is today.

As a Canadian firm, we are proud of our roots and continue to show that through our work, serving condominium corporations across Ontario for 25 years. While this province accounts for only a portion of this country, having the opportunity to work alongside numerous communities is a true privilege. Each community is unique and diverse, and its differences are celebrated. Our differences as a nation are what make Canada so special, and it is what makes us Canadian! We hope you have a great day and enjoy the celebrations.

What better way to wrap up the month of May than at CCI Eastern Ontario's 2026 Kingston Conference! Last Friday, members of our team had the chance to spend the day in Kingston connecting, learning and sharing their expertise at this annual event. Thank you to the CCI Eastern Ontario Chapter for all the time and effort your team put into making this conference experience a great success!

A huge shoutout to Patricia Elia, Megan Molloy, and Jonathan Wright from our team. All three lawyers were panellists throughout the day, with Patricia kicking off the morning with an interactive activity on conflicts in condos, and Megan and Jon capping off the event as speakers in the legal panel.

What a great day, we can't wait till next year!
