🇨🇦 Канада посилює перевірку результатів мовних тестів у межах імміграційних заяв.
IRCC оновило інструкції для офіцерів: тепер результати мовних тестів можуть перевірятися уважніше, особливо якщо є ознаки можливого шахрайства або невідповідності.

📌 Що можуть перевіряти:
🔹 фотографію заявника у даних мовного тесту;
🔹 нотатки у справі, зокрема можливі ознаки fraud;
🔹 повідомлення від тестових центрів про підозрілі результати або інші ризики.

Якщо в офіцера виникають concerns щодо достовірності результату, така інформація має бути задокументована та передана до Tips and Reports Management Unit — підрозділу, який займається повідомленнями про можливе шахрайство.
Перевірка може відбуватися на будь-якому етапі розгляду заяви, але обов’язково до ухвалення фінального рішення.

⚠️ Якщо IRCC дійде висновку, що результат мовного тесту є фальшивим або отриманим шахрайським шляхом, заяву можуть відхилити через misrepresentation — надання неправдивої інформації. Це може мати серйозні наслідки для майбутніх імміграційних заяв.

Які мовні тести приймаються для імміграційних цілей:

✅ CELPIP
✅ IELTS
✅ PTE Core
✅ TEF
✅ TCF

Результати мовних тестів зазвичай дійсні 2 роки з дати складання.
IRCC також підтвердило, що TOEFL наразі не приймається як мовний тест для імміграційних цілей, попри попередні повідомлення про можливе додавання його в майбутньому.

🎓 Щодо PGWP
Мовні вимоги також діють для заявників на Post-Graduation Work Permit. Через технічні обмеження онлайн-порталу окремого поля для результатів мовного тесту поки немає, тому результати потрібно завантажувати в розділ Client Information.

📌 Висновок: мовний тест має бути справжнім, чинним, правильно завантаженим і таким, що не викликає сумнівів під час перевірки IRCC.

Last month, significant updates to criminal laws were passed into law when the Protecting Victims Act (Bill C-16) received Royal Assent. On July 18, most of these changes came into force.

These changes add several new offences to the Criminal Code, including:
➡️ threatening to distribute non-consensual intimate images, including sexually explicit deepfakes
➡️ distribution of be******ty depictions
➡️ threatening to distribute child sexual abuse and exploitation material
➡️ and more

Sentences have also been increased for offences including:
➡️ non-consensual distribution of intimate images: 10 years (indictment)
➡️ voyeurism: 10 years (indictment)
➡️ obtaining sexual services of a person under the age of 18: 14 years
➡️ and more

In response to the Ebola disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and increasing risks in Uganda and South Sudan, the Government of Canada is taking decisive action by introducing temporary border measures to reduce the risk of the virus entering and spreading within Canada.
