The Workers' Health and Safety Legal Clinic is a specialty clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario and overseen by a community Board of Directors. We represent non-union workers throughout Ontario who face reprisals for raising a health and safety issue with their employer. As well, we assist workers with their workers’ compensation claims and some human rights applications that arise out of the workpl

ace. Our Clinic's activities are under three main headings:
• Casework
• Law Reform
• Outreach

Our staff engages in public advocacy as it relates to occupational health and safety. Our law reform activities range from participating in public consultations to writing to MPPs to making submissions with respect to bills before the Legislature. We provide community education in several areas of workplace law to groups, schools and organizations. If we can't help you we may be able to refer you to a source of help in your community.
