Current Toronto market stats.

With slower spring sales we are seeing more inventory, which equates to lower prices and less volume being sold compared to previous years.

Buyers who qualify are still waiting on the sidelines- to see if there will be further rate drops however, some Buyers can benefit from locking into a lower rate and buying now, while prices are still low.

More rate drops will bring more buyers and more buyers will bring higher home prices.


These TRREB graphics provide comparisons to 2023. I’ve provided the month over month comparisons as well.

The Bank of Canada dropped prime by .25 this morning to 4.75
A relief for a lot of people and certainly a move in the right direction .
Fingers crossed we keep on track for another reduction being announced in July.
