Attention students, retirees, stay-at-home parents, and unemployed Ontarians renewing auto insurance after July 1, 2026 ⚠️

Non-earner benefits will no longer be automatically included in standard auto insurance coverage in Ontario.

That means if you’re injured in an accident and unable to continue your normal daily life, you may not qualify for these benefits unless you specifically add the optional coverage at renewal.

Before renewing your policy, make sure you understand what coverage you may be giving up.

Most people know not to post about their accident online. What they don’t know is that deleting posts can be just as damaging.

In Ontario, courts and insurers can request your post history — and if it looks like you scrubbed your account after getting hurt, it raises serious red flags about your credibility.

Before you delete anything, go private, or post an update about how you’re doing, talk to a lawyer first.

After July 1, 2026, caregiver benefits are no longer automatic in Ontario. If you look after children or other dependants, that’s a gap you can’t afford to ignore.

Most people don’t find out until after an accident. Don’t be one of them.

If you have questions about how the new SABS changes affect your coverage, we’re here to help.

Ontario drivers are about to see major auto insurance changes in July 2026.

Some accident benefits including income replacement coverage, may no longer be automatically included in standard policies.

Many people won’t realize what’s missing until after an accident.

If you’ve been injured and unable to work, reduced coverage could mean more financial pressure during recovery.

Review your policy before the changes begin.

Motorcycle season is back in Ontario, and so are the risks. 🏍️

Riders have far less protection in a collision, especially during spring weather when roads are wet, visibility is reduced, and drivers may not be expecting motorcycles around them.

A few extra seconds of caution can prevent life-changing injuries.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a motorcycle accident, understanding your rights matters.
