In 2021, deaths for drivers speeding on Ontario roads hit a 10-year high. A total of 315 people died on roads patrolled by the OPP last year in speed related accidents.

Also on the rise is the number of collisions involving commercial motor vehicles. Ontario has seen a 26 per cent increase in deaths related to commercial vehicle collisions.

The Ford Government has recently announced that it will eliminate license plate sticker fees by March 13th and will provide refunds for stickers purchased over the last two years. In order to receive a refund you must ensure the address on your license is up to date by March 7th and all outstanding tickets and/or fines must be paid.

The Ontario government has announced it is ending licence plate renewal fees and sticker fees by March 13 and will refund the cost of stickers purchased over the past two years.
