Law practice areas are versatile! From health law to real estate law. What area does not involve a lawyer!
Family law is among those few areas of law which involve a family’s wellbeing. All areas of law somehow revolve around humans but family law has a direct impression on a family unlike other areas of practice.
Hence, it’s very important to practice this law with utmost honesty and diligence. A simple mistake might harm a whole family. This applies to everyone involved: Family court Judge, lawyer, legal drafter, law staff, court staff, the party(Applicant or Respondent).

Legal professionals must do lots of client communications. It's not always about hourly bills or conversations based on appointments.

While communication is important for a better connection, correspondence, and healthier performance, like every other profession, the legal profession too, needs to draw its own boundaries.

Legal professionals are not healers, and they are not meant to do therapy for the clients. The clients should seek help from professional therapists in that regard. Therapists earn degrees in Psychology for a reason!

Preparing financial statements for clients is not easy. We need to be experts in understanding the tax documentations, and also be good in some accounting software. If the clients can not provide the right documents, their financial statements might end up in some messy docs!
Moral: No one can draft a magic document without all the required information.

Do not insert ‘the home you plan to designate as matrimonial home’ in your Prenuptial agreement with a term that cannot be shared in the event of a dissolution of marriage!
Family Law Act strictly maintains net family property equalization and a prenup term regarding matrimonial home won’t save that from consequences!
