In Canada, letters to Santa are free courtesy of Canada Post. No Postage is required, you just need to ensure you include a return address.
Now it takes a while for Letters to Santa 🎅 from Canada Post to make their way to the North Pole so it is important to make sure you meet the Canada Post Santa deadlines.
Writing a letter ✉️ and mailing a letter to Santa is a beloved 🎄 Christmas Tradition for children around Canada 🇨🇦 and keeps the elves at Canada post busy ensuring every child receives a response from Santa Claus.

We are getting lots of questions about Christmas cut-off date-and we don’t have one yet.

It changes every year, honestly. It depends on how busy we get. The majority of what we make is very custom, and each order takes a lot of time. So we always need to ensure that we can fill the others we have-it’s why in the past we’ve unfortunately stopped taking orders unexpectedly quite early in the season.

And of course we ship 99.% of our orders, so Canada Post deadlines (and even giving them some extra time) needs to be considered.

I know that the things we make are very sentimental and cherished gifts and we take the responsibility of providing them very seriously to make sure that your orders are received in time (and sometimes despite our best efforts, the stars don’t line up and it gets stuck in dieppe 🙈).

And on that note I do recommend that if you want an order for Christmas-you order of asap to avoid disappointment.

If you have any questions about an order-don’t hesitate to send us a message here.

Thank-you all for your support,
Stephen and Sara

P.S. our 4 year old Peter unexpectedly took this photo of us last month at the White House in Washington, D.C. Its now one of my favourite photos of us ♥️

On October 20th, our team at the Norquay Post Office in Saskatchewan held a cheque presentation ceremony for 2022 Canada Post Community Foundation grant recipients Parkland Regional Library (Norquay Branch). The funds will go towards the purchase of new furniture.

Each October, our employees help to raise funds to support charitable efforts through the Community Foundation. In 2022, the Foundation granted $1.3 million to support 101 community organizations across Canada. Funds are raised through an annual in-store campaign, sales of a special fundraising stamp and employee support – and every penny raised in a province stays in that province.
