IRCC just released their latest citizenship numbers and there's something every applicant needs to know.
As of March 31, 2026, IRCC has 270,100 citizenship grant applications in its inventory. Here's the breakdown 👇
✅ 208,600 (77%) - processed within service standards
⚠️ 61,500 (23%) - officially classified as BACKLOG
And that backlog percentage has been quietly growing since August 2025 — when it was just 20%.

What does this mean for YOU? 👇
