March 2026 Market Update with Lirad Kligman from The Yorkville Team.

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) resale housing market became tighter in March 2026 compared to the same time last year. Sales increased year over year, while new listings declined. At the same time, selling prices were lower than in March 2025, improving affordability as the spring market approaches.

It’s interesting to note that the average detached home sale price has been increasing month over month up by 7.7% since December 2025. This suggests that we may have hit a price bottom.
