AVera Immigration

AVera Immigration We provide advice on immigration matters, helping individuals make informed decisions about their options for temporary or permanent residence in Canada.

We also assist them with their application by addressing any problems that can lead to a rejection. AVera Immigration was born out of my personal experience and a passion for assisting individuals and their families in their pursuit of a fresh start in Canada. I arrived here in 2015 with the same dream, but it was not easy. I faced the challenges and uncertainties that every immigrant encounters.

I started my company in 2021 after completing the Immigration Consultant Diploma from Ashton College in BC in 2020, and passing the Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant exam in 2021 on my first attempt. Credentials and Memberships:

Express Entry shook things up this week — and many of you are feeling it

Three draws in three days.
A CEC cutoff of 518.
And a French draw sitting all the way down at 409.

If you’re a CEC candidate, I know this feels heavy. You’re working, building a life here, doing everything right — and still staring at a number that feels out of reach. You’re not alone. So many of my clients are feeling the same mix of hope and frustration.

But here’s the other truth:
IRCC hasn’t changed direction — they’re still prioritizing French and PNPs. But your pathway is still your pathway. And strategy can change everything.

If this week left you overwhelmed, confused, or wondering what your next move should be, I’m here. Send me a message and we’ll map out your strongest path forward.

New IRCC update affecting co-op and internship requirements.

Starting April 1, 2026, eligible students will be permitted to complete placements and internships under their existing study permit authorization, with no separate co-op work permit required.

This change simplifies the process and reduces the number of application steps involved.

For inquiries or assistance regarding your eligibility, please feel free to reach out.

In today’s Express Entry draw, some lucky Cooks are celebrating with me! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

IRCC continues to issue Express Entry invitations through regular rounds, inviting the top-ranking candidates in the pool based on CRS score. That means you don’t always need a “targeted” occupation to receive an ITA — if your score is competitive, you can be invited in a general round.

To every Chef or Cook out there working hard and dreaming bigger:
✅ Keep your Express Entry profile active and up to date
✅ Keep your language results valid
✅ Keep your work experience documents ready (letters, pay stubs, contracts)

Your invitation could be next. 🇨🇦💛
