We’re proud to share that Ella Cameron, Senior Solicitor at Resolve, has been named a finalist for Senior Associate of the Year – SME Law at the 2026 Women in Law Awards.

Ella’s practice covers some of the most demanding work in family law: complex property matters involving businesses, trusts & superannuation, and parenting matters where conflict has become entrenched. What stands out is how she approaches it. She gives clients clear, realistic advice, even when it’s hard to hear, and she looks for every genuine opportunity to move a matter towards resolution.

She also understands that a family law matter is never only a legal problem. Ella makes sure her clients are connected with the right support around them, from financial advisers to counsellors, so they are looked after practically & emotionally as well as legally.

Ella leads a team of two junior lawyers, helping shape one of Resolve’s highest-performing teams. She balances clear guidance with encouraging her team to back their own judgement, take ownership of their decisions and be accountable for their work. Leading by example, she sets high standards for hard work, strong client relationships and open, two-way communication. It is this commitment to developing others, alongside her legal expertise, that sets Ella apart as both a lawyer and a leader.

Two new Senior Solicitors!

Samantha joined Resolve in July 2024 and has become known for her judgement, with a rare instinct for when to move gently and when to hold her ground.

Isabella joined us in November 2025 and hit the ground running. She brings the technical depth of a former judge's associate, a Masters in Family Law and a genuine love of the craft.

This is Modern Family Law: deep legal expertise, paired with the judgement to use it well.

This week, we're celebrating two promotions: Caitlin and Mikayla both step up to Associate. Different strengths, same trajectory, and both helping us redefine Modern Family Law.

Caitlin Arthur → Associate
Caitlin didn't wait for an opportunity at Resolve. She picked up the phone, asked Chanel what it would take, and has been proving it ever since. She's clear on her goals and never shies away from the work it takes to reach them.

Mikayla Golding → Associate
A bit of finance. A bit of marketing. Mikayla has done it all at Resolve since 2021, and since stepping into legal practice, her hunger for learning has set the bar for growth across the firm.

Some people just get the work done. These two bring an energy to it you can actually feel. This is the Resolve way in action, and we're so here for it.

Somewhere along the way, conflict became the "norm" for family law. Lawyers escalating issues. Outcomes that were damaging for a lot of families - issues that lasted long after the legal process ended.

It doesn't have to be that way. The most effective family law strategies aren't about "winning". They're about genuine resolution. About finding an outcome that's fair, sustainable, and that lets people move forward with their lives.

Conflict can't always be avoided. But it should never be the starting point.
