My thoughts on this news item
The visa application fee may not be the biggest concern. The real issue is the lengthy processing time for Partner Visa applications. One of my clients is still waiting for a decision. During this time, they have welcomed a child into their family and have already celebrated the child's second birthday, yet their visa application remains unprocessed.

The queue starts with a record fee. For many couples, that's only the beginning.
