📢 URGENT: SUPPORT FAIRNESS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN AUSTRALIA! 🇦🇺

The new Student Visa changes introduced on 2 October 2026 have created serious uncertainty for thousands of international students and their families.
Many genuine students came to Australia, invested their savings, paid tuition fees and made long-term education and family plans based on the rules that existed at the time.
Should these students now be disadvantaged because the rules have changed halfway through their journey?
We fully support the Australian Government’s efforts to maintain the integrity of the student visa system. However, fairness and reasonable transitional arrangements are equally important.
This petition calls on the Australian Government to:
✅ Introduce grandfathering arrangements for eligible students already in Australia before 2 October 2026.
✅ Protect genuine students who made education and financial commitments under the previous rules.
✅ Reconsider the impact on existing spouses and dependent children.
✅ Provide fair transitional options for students who legitimately changed education providers.
✅ Consult international students, education providers and migration professionals before implementing further major changes.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for FAIR treatment.
