🎉 Celebrating 30 Years of Tim White at TGB Lawyers 🎉

"Thirty years ago, a phone rang at my parents' house.

As a university student on holidays and enjoying a less-than-disciplined sleep schedule, I answered the call not knowing it would become one of the most important moments of my life.

On the other end was the Managing Partner of TGB Lawyers, offering me a job.

That was July 1996.

Since then, I have had the privilege of building my entire legal career at TGB. Looking back, what stands out is not the passage of time, but the people.

The colleagues, staff and Partners who have shared the journey. The mentors who guided me. The friendships formed along the way. Most importantly, the thousands of clients who entrusted us with matters that often carried significant personal, financial and emotional importance.

For 30 years, it has been an honour to help people navigate challenges, seek justice and move forward with confidence. Their trust is something I have never taken lightly.

Today, as Managing Partner, I remain as passionate about our profession and our purpose as I was when I first walked through the doors of TGB.

I am grateful for the past 30 years and excited about what lies ahead.

Thank you to all those I have worked with so far for your trust in me, your support and guidance."

Congratulations, Tim, on this remarkable milestone, and thank you for 30 years of dedication to TGB Lawyers, passionate advocacy in personal injury law, steadfast support of Defence Force veterans, and outstanding leadership. Your contribution to our firm, our clients and our community is truly exceptional. 👏

Divorce and property settlement are not the same thing.
Divorce legally ends a marriage, but it does not automatically divide property, debts, superannuation or other financial resources.
A property settlement is a separate process that resolves the financial ties between separated parties — and you do not need to wait until you are divorced to start that process.
There are also important time limits to be aware of once a divorce becomes final.
If you have separated or are thinking about separation, early legal advice can help you understand your options and protect your position.
Need guidance after separation? Contact TGB’s family law team to find out where you stand.
