🚨 Migration Update – Skilled Visa Reform (Starting 29 Nov 2025)

The Australian Government has now registered the Migration Amendment (Skilled Visa Reform Technical Measures) Regulations 2025.
Here’s what it actually means in simple terms:

1️⃣ The new SID 482 visa is now fully built into the system
It sits properly inside the cancellation, sponsorship and review rules so everything works smoothly.

2️⃣ Employer obligations are now clearer
Sponsors must meet the same obligations for both the primary visa holder and their dependants.

3️⃣ SID visa settings match the old TSS 482 visa
This keeps the transition simple for employers and migration agents.

4️⃣ Offshore SID refusals now have clear review rights
Applicants and sponsors know exactly when a review can be lodged.

5️⃣ ENS 186 TRT criteria have been tightened
Only work done with an approved sponsor will count toward permanent residency.
