It is with pleasure we congratulate our long standing client, the Greaton Group, on the completion and opening of their new 5 star hotel, the Adelaide Marriott Hotel. Members of our in legal team played a significant role on this stunning Project, from initial purchase of the site in 2016, working through the difficulties caused by the Covid 19 Pandemic, liaison with project stakeholders including the Marriott Group, and generally taking a hands-on role with the management and delivery of the hotel. We are honored to have been the primary Law Firm acting for the Greaton Group on this Project.

A big, warm welcome to Vicky Geng who has recently joined our sister company, LGee Conveyancing as a Conveyancing Associate after moving to Adelaide from New South Wales in order to pursue her career.

A qualified solicitor in New South Wales, Vicky has applied to practice law in South Australia through mutual recognition and given her experience in commercial and property law, she will be a real asset to our ever growing practice in these areas.

Vicky is bilingual and fluent in both English and Mandarin.

What is going on behind the [heritage] façade at the Adelaide, GPO?

Demolition of non-heritage buildings is well underway, making way for a contemporary and iconic, new tower. We are excited to see our client's (Greaton) vision come to life; the seamless integration of contemporary living with the heritage of Adelaide, which we will all soon come to know as the Marriott Hotel, Adelaide.

Congratulations to our Adriana Roussos on finalising a complex criminal matter this week.

Adriana’s client had serious charges laid against them in January of this year. From the outset, a number of inherent legal issues were identified in the charges laid. What followed was an extensive process of negotiation with Prosecution. This week, after almost twelve months, Adriana successfully finalised her negotiations by way of a full withdrawal of all charges against her client.

Well done, Adriana. What a great way to end the year!
