Final Invitation Round Coming Soon for SA ⚠️

South Australia continued to issue invitations on 1 May 2026, with another round expected around mid to late May 2026.

In the latest round, more invitations were issued compared to last month (+64 invitations), while the top occupation groups invited remained largely consistent.

The key highlight this round was the increase in invitations for Education Professionals, pushing this occupation group into the top three most invited groups.

With the 2027 Budget happening this week, the next South Australian invitation round will likely be the final round for this financial year.

⚠ No Further Invitations Will Be Issued for NSW Subclass 190 Visa

Following the Northern Territory’s announcement on Monday that its Skilled Migration program has closed for this financial year due to sufficient applications, NSW has now almost exhausted its nomination allocation as well.

This morning, NSW announced that it has invited sufficient EOIs for the Skilled Nominated Subclass 190 visa for this financial year, and no further invitations will be issued.

However, NSW will continue to invite EOIs for Subclass 491 – Pathway 2 until its nomination allocation is reached.

This could be one of your final opportunities to secure an invitation this financial year, as more states and territories begin closing their programs once places are filled.

491 Nomination Pre-Approval Granted in 10 Days 🎊
