There have been much debate and controversy over the release of convicts on amnesty.The school of thought against the release of these convicts argue that they have high chances of re offending.
However, there is another angle which l also support.That is convicts who have exhibited a level of rehabilitation should be released.The approach therefore should be to assess whether one has been adequately rehabilitated and realized his wrongs.My approach is not without basis: The purpose of criminal procedure include rehabilitation and retribution among others.
For that reasons, court show lenience in sentencing those who have shown remorse and do not exhibit chances of re offending.
My partying shot is that release on amnesty should continue given that the ratio of those re offending is so small or insiginificant compared to those successfully re-engaging and integrating with the society.

The progress and actions by law enforcement agents in dealing with Cyber Crimes is something positive to be commented on...

Do you know that if you are convicted of Stock theft you will be sentenced to no less than 9 years per each count - unless there are special circumstances.But if you steal real money even of significant value it is rare to go beyond 20 years.
ASI ukaba mombe nhatu with value of less than 1k that's 27 years.Knowledge is power- forewarned is forearmed.

But here’s the bitter truth
A Power of Attorney does not transfer ownership of land or property.The land still belongs to the donor of the Power of Attorney.
